We are so fortunate to be able to work with Aiko from Verdefleurs to design this lovely rustic chic party in a French charming countryside. Blending lush greeneries with rustic elements of the venue as well as the romantic tone of neutrals, blush and copper. The theme was incorporated throughout the day of details from the welcome area, flower installations at the entrance to the tablesetting.
Situated in Reilly, this domain is just one and half hours away from Paris, which is perfect for guests that are driving from Paris and others who are from out of town and other countries. The rooms just next to the hall are also available to accommodate those who came from far. The domain has a large garden which is perfect for an outdoor cocktail hour and a country-style dining room with a balcony and terraces.
The guests were welcomed by the signage featuring hand-drawings of the venue and the programme of the day with greeneries as a finishing touch. Next to it, we arranged some wooden boxes as a welcome area display. To keep the consistency, we used rustic, raw industrial materials such as woven and rattan baskets, bamboo fans, galvanised buckets as well as vintage books and a suitcase. At the night, we lighted up fairy lights inside lanterns to create a magical experience.
Aiko curated the thoughtful selections of florals and foliages to match up the colour palette from the moodboard, greyish sage greeneries such as eucalyptus and succulents, neutral and blush for an accent. We love how simple greeneries can make a huge impact, we used greenery to hang escort cards, a welcome signage and the entrance door and scattered around welcome boxes.
Entering the dining hall, there was a wishing well table featuring a copper terrarium card box, gift favors with blush ribbons and a basket filled with Batik sandals for dancing shoes as well as a keepsake for guests.
For the main table, Aiko created a beautiful long greenery liner adorned with roses and peonies. She also created a matching bouquet for other rounded tables.
Coordinating with the element of the invite such as vellum and copper tone, we mixed up glass and copper tealight candles and candle holders as well as a copper terrarium. We set the table up with beautiful floral arrangements from Verdefleurs, candles and matching stationeries in neutral hues. The same style brush lettering was applied on the menus, place cards and table numbers. We placed little eucalyptus stem next to the menu cards inside napkins for each seat. Also a wooden place card adding the rustic feeling to this romantic tablescape.
