Whilst my wedding preparations are still blurry, one thing for sure is picking my bridesmaids. For sure I want them to be my side on my big day because they always have my back! My ladies who have seen it all and stuck by my side through thick and thin, so I want this to be special. This proposal with a basket filled with thoughtful hand-picked items will say it all. Head this way to see how I created these curated gifts and asked them to stand next to me on my wedding day in France.
I crafted and picked out all the little pieces inside the basket. I wanted the first thing my girls to receive from me to feel special, personal and be related to French. Here are some details of the gift basket:
A mini bottle of sparkling wine
I’ve got the ring so now it’s time to pop the next big questions to my girls. Something bubbly always be appreciated and especially when it comes with the customised label, ‘Will you be my bridesmaid?’. For someone who appreciates the gift wrapping just as much as the gift itself, I always add extra attention into detailing; a handwritten tag with my bridesmaid’s name tied with ribbons and little greenery.
Sweet saying that summaries my feeling towards my girls printed on a card stock. To add more personal bits, I make my own lettering with blank ink and rose gold metallic. Not just a piece of paper- it’s handwritten, personal and witty…so hopefully they say YES!
A little French treat
Who doesn’t love sweet treat? I put together these little classic french treats: madeiline and bonbons (Carambar and Malabar) into a kraft paper bag and sealed it with a signature label.
Natural, eco and greenery
I combined these natural, rustic, eco-friendly elements such as handmade basket, kraft paper and mini bouquet I created from flowers, succulents and greenery. I basically reused the handmade basket from the farmer’s market and turned into lovely gifting for my bridesmaids!
