As a graphic designer, you might think designing my own invitations would be a piece of cake. In fact, I was dwelling on deciding the concept of our invitations. We all agree that invitations are so important to set the tone of your wedding and create the first impression of the overall design. Alright, the pressure was on. I stepped back a bit to think how do I normally begin the design process with my clients. The process of trying to link the couple’s lovestory and infuse some personality into a piece of paper.
This wedding invitation suite was designed for Ryan and Gressa who got married in the infamous Cathedral Church in Jakarta. They hired Lovebirdstories to create a modern and sophisticated monochromatic invitation suite with green colour palette. Welcome to March! I can’t wait to smell pretty blossoms and see the city in the full bloom. So what better way to start the month than with this blush pink and copper foil floral wedding invite? Beautiful floral design in shades of pale pink paired with green hues will make the perfect combination. And yes… we celebrate Pantone Green as a Colour of the Year as well!

The invite was designed for this sweet couple, Okky and Cheren who love oceanic theme for their wedding. Paired with blush pink, the shade of oceanic sets the tone of this invite.
