One of my favourite things to arrange- a bridal shower party! The girls decided to throw an Oriental themed party for Cheren, the bride to be who will get married this week. Bring out the glam of traditional Chinese traditions into some party details, from table arrangement, bridal accessories and dessert table. I’m sharing this Oriental inspired bridal shower party, check it out!
Celebrating the beauty of Chinese root, the bride wore a traditional Chinese one piece dress, well known as a Cheongsam or Qipao as well as the red veil and ‘bride-to-be’ sash.
The vision was to create an elegant and timeless dining experience. The location, Pala Adas provided a gorgeous room with a long table, a beautiful hanging chandelier, mirror frames at both sides of wall and natural light coming out from the window. Dark red roses added a glamour contrast against the white porcelain vases. The gold metallic accents added more persona into this dining.
For stationery, a red tone adorned with floral arrangement set onto a bride-to-be placement card, coaster, name card and invitation. A simple label sticked out from the fortune cookie is indicated the seat of guests.
The Qipao inspired cake was custom made by Golden Sugar, one tier cake dressed with fresh flowers and Chinese frog-style knot buttons running down the front.
Using takeaway boxes for favours, tied with a customised floral tag perfect to wrap some Chinese delicacies.
Rich details and hues paired with the light of the lantern- ensure a feast of the eyes. An impressive work from Stephanie who decorated the table with colourful ancient accessories from teapot set until miniature barongsai. A high cake stand filled with an assortment of traditional cakes for guests’ appetite. For sweet tooth, there are some white rabbit candies and chocolate coins which bring some good time memories.
