Cocktail O’clock: Mojito

There’s always a time for Cocktails- Summer or not… Friday will feel better with some cocktails sips. For cocktails, I like something light and preferably something fresh. Which makes a lot of sense when I think about having mojito which is created with the combination of my two fave things: lime and mint. Cold, fresh and zesty- just what you need for Friday drinks!

I love to make mojito because it’s super easy and quick- no shaker needed just a muddler. If you don’t have a muddler- use something with blunt end around your kitchen. Here are all ingredients you need:

• 8 mint leaves

• one lime

• 10 ice cubes

• 2 tbsp sugar

• 1 1/2 oz rum (Old Nick)

• sparkling water (Perrier)

This is for a portion of one glass of mojito.

How to create:

Combine three lime wedges, eight mint leaves, two tablespoons of sugar and muddle them together. Add 1 1/2 rum and sparkling water into a tall glass filled with ice cubes. Mix it well with stirrer. Garnish with lime wedge. Enjoy!

In addition, I created free printable with watercolour illustration which you can download here and stick on your kitchen or dining wall.
