This wedding invitation suite was designed for Ryan and Gressa who got married in the infamous Cathedral Church in Jakarta. They hired Lovebirdstories to create a modern and sophisticated monochromatic invitation suite with green colour palette. Something they have in common is they both studied and works in architecture firms. Don’t you agree a common interest may begins the love story? Their love and passions in architecture- simply lead to another page of relationship and construct a happy life together.
Surely the invitation would set the stage for your wedding day and give a major hint to your guests. Matching up the emerald dress custom made for mum of the bride and groom, a deep green envelope and a reception card would definitely make an understated statement. The main card features a custom illustration of Cathedral Church where they held the holy matrimony. A line drawing style in rose gold foil spoke up by itself.
The invitation suite was printed on ivory card stock. Less colour doesn’t mean less work- this monochromatic invitation suite was generally based on deep green and rose gold foil stamp for the final touch. It took several experiments to get the green colour right as it was requested.
To tie the invitation suite, modern calligraphy typeface was picked to highlight some elements such as couple’s names and venue. It was also paired with san serif font for the whole suite; main card, reception card, map and envelope. The envelope and reception card both in emerald green- they were matched perfectly. White writing on bold print out, also turns out great for rose gold foil finishing which gives more character and luxury element.
The design was also adopted to create the wedding program book. Throughout the wedding ceremony and reception, Nocture captured so many lovely memories. Thanks again for taking a great snap of the invitation suite below!
