Gift wrapping: Pom pom and initial keepsake

Processed with VSCOcam with c1 preset

Preparing a present to someone close to you has always been one of my favorite things to do, and it is even better when you wrap it with a lovely personalised gift wrap. One of my friends has recently became a new mum and celebrate her birthday, so I am thinking a name necklace of her baby would be an ideal gift for both of them.

For the gift wrap theme, I choose pom pom and pastel ribbons and name tag. Here what you have to prepare:

Printables: Grace purple gift topper and initial G with your favourite font (hint: pick the font that has thick stroke so it’s easier to trace and paint).

Matterials: muslin bag, black acrylic paint, drawing pen, ribbon, pom pom, cardbox, tissue paper, and craft glue.

Let it dry a while. Normally, I speed the process with the hair dryer. Paint another layer for the best result.

While waiting for the second drying process, prepare the box.

Thread through the gift topper before make the bow.

Move the pom-pom and place it one at the top and another at the bottom. As a final touch, glue the edge of one of the bow and adhere the last pom-pom.
