My workspace is the place at home when I spend all of my morning and afternoon. Since I work on my own, this small space becomes my little studio. Because my being here most of the time, I like to have it as comfortable as possible. It’s important to keep everything tidy and organised and small things like stationeries to boost up my mood in the morning. Head this way to take a look closer on my workspace at home.
The colour palette is neutral with a touch of rose gold. I can’t deny that I have a big crush on Scandinavian style; white faux sheepskin, geometric boxes, marble frame, and modern minimalist rose gold table lamp. I storage small bits in the two grid-style boxes which are matching with my file folder too. I also like using a rose gold wire basket to keep my paper rolls in one place. It’s so practical to dump in all leftover papers after finishing a project.
At the top of my desk is the rose gold photo montage with a marble frame that I used as a mood board, consisting of my watercolour projects, handwritten quotes, postcards I have been collecting from my travels, photos or any clippings from magazines. It’s my way to infuse some personalities into my desk. I like to update these regularly once or two weeks to keep me inspired. It’s also fun to collect some rose gold accessories and add something refreshing such as flowers or greenery on the table.
