We are officially moving from to Paris last Spring. A perfect season to start the new life. I felt quite sad leaving UK as it was my home for 6 years. But hello to the new adventure, a beginning of dessert hunting, cute cafes, crafty shops, flea markets, yummy foods and quirky restaurants. Count me in! Follow my journey to discover the coolest concept store in Paris.
My first hunting was exploring quirky crafty stores in Paris. Some of them have been on my list such as these two famous stores, Merci and Collete. Some of them I stumbled upon when wandering around the Parisian neighbourhood. So far, here is the list of my faves:
You can’t afford to miss this cute shop when you’re strolling through Le Marais. Passing through the alley just next to the Used Book Cafe, you’ll be welcomed by the iconic red classic car parked by the entrance. This three floors building is huge from selling fashion & clothes, accessories, home and decoration, jewellery, stationery, and furnitures at the top floor.
I am smitten by their pretty collection of homeware. You can find the latest trendy goods which are on Pinterest here in this place. Those famous brown paper bags, Falcon cutlery sets, Japanese ceramics, aluminium & brass sets, industrial lights, you name it! Also a small cafe overlooking the courtyard, just perfect for a coffee break.
This hipster store is the stylish store I’ve ever come across! It sells the coolest stuff curated from some local famous brands. Located in Rue Saint Honoré, this shop always packed with many visitors. Spot easily this shop by the double cobalt blue dots on the door and the matching canopy. From hi-tech accessories, fashion, graphic books which are super arty. It’s heaven for creative souls out there.
If you think one shop is not enough- not to worry because Fleux offers more than 3 shops to explore. Located next to each others in the heart of Le Marais, they have everything mainly for interior, furnitures, home, garden, decoration, accessories. Such a treasure to find this store!
This cute local shop can be found in Rue du Château . Store at the front as an entrance and the workshop area inside. I mean… it’s hard not to fall in love with this artisan store, isn’t?! Not just because of that vintage sewing machine or those artistic floor tiles. Perfect for gift hunter or a little treat for yourself, so why not pay a visit?
If life gives you lemons, make lemonade… I guess this slogan works really well for this store. Bright retro chic, pop colours, playful patterns is too adorable to resist! This store has just made your day. They have a crafty working corner, pop up stand, fluffy stripy sofa and a line of Summery clothes with the cute changing room.
