Pastel is probably one of my favourite colour tone to work on, especially for kids party. The soft tone creates dreamy, magical and sweet atmosphere for the birthday girl. One of the recent Lovebirdstories project I’d like to share today is the dreamy pastel birthday party for Caitlyn who was just turning one! Her party was full of cuteness and pretty details you would be swooning over.
I made this birthday banner to celebrate the birthday party of the 5-years old boy. The banner is full of swing! Bright colours and stars are everywhere.. I depicted an illustration of sky with some playful elements such as: clouds, stars, and a balloon. I was quite pleased how the banner turned out- the rainbow typography on the soft clouds, scatter stars, and an adorable balloon with the giant number 5 on it.
This past weekend I had an absolute pleasure to design personalised invitations and party accessories for Luna’s second birthday party. Luna’s mum agreed to incorporate her daughter favourite character Minnie Mouse into the party. I brought this Disney mouse character live with her polkadot bow tie and burst of pink creating a girlie touch. To balance it, I added the bright pop yellow to the tone so the male guests wouldn’t feel forgotten. Pink and yellow colour combo sets up a fun, bold and colourful party, perfect for little kids!
