This past weekend I had an absolute pleasure to design personalised invitations and party accessories for Luna’s second birthday party. Luna’s mum agreed to incorporate her daughter favourite character Minnie Mouse into the party. I brought this Disney mouse character live with her polkadot bow tie and burst of pink creating a girlie touch. To balance it, I added the bright pop yellow to the tone so the male guests wouldn’t feel forgotten. Pink and yellow colour combo sets up a fun, bold and colourful party, perfect for little kids!
Happy New Year!
Before starting posting for the new year, I’d like to recap what I’ve accomplished this year so I can set up the goal for the following year. I have managed to establish the new feature on the blog, ‘Projects’ which showcases five essentials categories. More details on previous posts here. Not only it’s easier to find the premium projects through the thumbnails which you can easily navigate at the dropdown, it also helps me to give clear focus on what I’d like to push more this year.
When I’ve got the leftover yellow tube from kinder eggs, I decided to create these cute Minions favors. I am obsessed with Minions and I’m too excited to see their funny faces on these minis! The are super adorable, fill them with chocolate candies then you’ve got the cutest favors for birthday parties!
Happy Saturday! Today I’d like to share a floral birthday invitations design for a friend of mine daughter’s first birthday. With her brilliant cooking skills, she will host a birthday party inspired from Alice in Wonderland and Mad Hatter afternoon tea. Scrumptious fondant cakes, bundt cakes, sponge cakes, chocolate slices, scones and teas on vintage cups and stands- that’s how she imagines her daughter special day. A beautiful floral arrangement is the key of the day’s celebration, so I decided to incorporate the whimsical watercolour floral into the invitations.Read more
